Island Soline

A narrow and shallow strait (submerged valley) at the entrance from Veliko into Malo Lake on the island of Mljet, allowing only boats to pass. The hamlet of Soline, a part of the village Go-vedari, is situated at the very strait.
The hamlet was named after the saltern maintained by the Benedictine monks of Mljet.
