The village and port on the north-eastern coast of the island. The inhabitants are fishermen and they also grow olives. Betina has beautiful sand beach. It is also shipyard for small and sport ships. The settlement was founded in the 16th century by the inhabitants of Vrana, when they fled before the Turks. The parish church was built at the beginning of the 17th century. The archaeological excavations confirmed that the Illyrian and Roman town of Collentum was located in the vicinity, on the Gradina hill.>
