It lies in the cove of the same name, on the northern coast of the island. In fact, it is the harbor of the biggest settlement, Grohote. The coast is very indented with numerous small gravel beaches. The coastal area with the small islands (Stipanska, Radula, Balkun, Polebrnjak, Grmej, Kamicic) is suitable for the underwater and sport fishing.
