Located 34 kilometers from Split, in antiquity it was called Setovia. The game of knights, "alka", is performed every year, in the memory of the victory over the Turks in 1715: alkari (knights) dressed in the traditional costume, riding in a full gallop try to put a spear through the special ring ("alka") that hangs from the wire. In Sinj you can visit the Museum of Alka, with arms and costumes, and on the hill is the small votive church of St.Lovro.
