Island Olib
Olib is very low island, east from Silba, with area of 26 sq. kilometers. The port Olib, the only anchorage on the island, is on the western coast. The Slatnica cove is much more shallow. The eastern and southern parts of the island are covered by rich vegetation (ilex forest) and vast pastures. The main products of the inhabitants are wine, oil and cheese. The island was inhabited already in the antiquity. The parish church is from 1632, and about twenty Glagolitic codices from the 16th - 19th century are kept in the parsonage.
