Tkon
The place on the island that is opposite to Biograd-on-sea on the mainland. Tkon is located near the beautiful beach. The parish church is from the 18th century. After the Venice destroyed Biograd n/m in 1125, the Benedictines built a monastery there, that later became the center of the Glagolitic writing. It was deserted in the 19th century, and the Gothic monastery church of SS. Kuzma and Damjan, built from 1367 to 1518, is still preserved.
