This is a small town, 14 kilometers from Rovinj. It is situated on the hill and located on the prehistoric hillfort and later Roman castrum. In the parish church of St. Julijan from 1880, built on the place of the older church from the 9th century, there are a stone sarcophagi and the fragments of the wattle-work and the early Romanesque ornaments.
