The place between Porec and Vrsar that was named after strong springs of water near the very coast. It was founded in the 18th century by colonists from Zadar. The parish church of St. Bernard was built in 1621. The small church of the Lady of Karmel from 1631 is on the cemetery, and at some distance from the center of the village there is the church of St. Lucija from 1750.
