BROD NA KUPI, a town in the northern part of Gorski Kotar, near the confluence point of the Kupica into the Kupa, 12 km north of Delnice; elevation 222 m; population 176. Due to its favourable location in a mountain landscape full of karst features, and to a public beach on the Kupa, it is an attractive tourist destination for summer holidays, as well as for hiking and sports fishing (angling). It is also a health resort. Brod na Kupi is located on the crossing of the main road Delnice - border with the Republic of Slovenia (M6.01) and the regional road Donja Dobra - Cabar. >
