Brsec

The small town on 150 meters high, steep cliff. It is the picturesque, condensed settlement on the eastern side of the southern part of Učka. From the small plateau at the entrance to the town, there is a great view on Vela vrata and the island of Cres. Brseč is a starting point for mountaineering ascent on Sisol, the most southern peak of Učka (883 m). The medieval church of St. Juraj was restored in the 18th century.
