Cabar

It is the greenest area of Croatia (78% of its area is under green vegetation). Čabar is one of the examples of urban building in the river valley (the river Čabranka). The founder of Čabar is Petar Zrinski who in 1651 opened foundry and mint, and built a castle that today houses the donation of the painter Vilim Svečnjak and the local museum collection. In the vicinity is Hrib, the hill with "a thousand villages". Over that hill the road leads to the spring and canyon of the river Kupa. There are facilities for excursion, recreation, hunting and sport tourism.
