Delnice

With its altitude of 322 meters, it is the highest town and the center of Gorski kotar. It is on the main road and railroad between Zagreb and Rijeka. The house of the Klobučar-Rački family from the 17th century is one of the most valuable examples of the building heritage in Gorski kotar. The parish church of St. John the Baptist is also from the 17th century. The surroundings of Delnice offer good possibilities for winter and summer tourism (cave, mountains, forests).
