Metajna
METAJNA, a village and harbour in the eastern part of the island of Pag, situated in the cove of the same name, on the Barbat peninsula; population 272. Chief occupations include farming and fishing. The church of St. Mary was erected in 1487 by Master Nicholas of Sibenik, in the late Gothic style. East of the village, on the top of the peninsula, there are ruins of the Gothic church of St. Christopher.
