The settlement five kilometers from Novalja developed on the ruins of the antique settlement. The walls of that settlement are still visible in the sea. On the edge of the Novalja Field, you can also see the remains of the antique walls, antique necropolis and the ruins of the Romanesque chuech of St. Križ.
