Situated on the regional road Novi Vinodolski - Ogulin. Ruins of an old burg lie in the close vicinity of the village. First mentioned in 1248; abandoned towards the end of the 17th century. The old parish church of St. Stephen, a Romanesque structure, was expanded in the 14th and 15th centuries, with a Gothic vault over the new part. The belfry was used as a defence tower of the town gate. The town loggia leans on the church. The village below the town has a church, St. George, built in 1716, and the new parish church dates back to 1827.
