Licko Lesce

LICKO LESCE, a village in the central part of Lika, on the south-western rim of Gacko Polje (the Gacka field), 18 km southwest of Otocac; elevation 463 m; population 1,211. Until 1970 called Lesce. Chief occupations are farming, livestock breeding, fishing and tourism. Situated at the main road (M5) Otocac - Gospic and on the railroad Zagreb - Split.
The parish church of the Virgin Mary of the Holy Rosary was built in 1780.
