Platak

Platak (altitude - 1,111 meters) is winter resort and center for winter sports, only 24 kilometers from Rijeka. Sometimes you can still find snow on skiing terrain in May, when the swimmers already come to the coast. There are sport hotel and mountaineering home on Platak, and you can also camp on meadows beside thick woods. Platak is also the starting point for the climb on Snježnik (1,506 m).
